Beyond the Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion, there are many further training and education opportunities available at Copacabana SLSC.

Training is available for many areas of SLSC. Some roles require specific training to perform those roles, and other training and education courses are aimed at providing further development opportunities for our volunteers, including the following:

• First Aid Officer

• Radio Operator

• Rescue Water Craft Operator

• Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Driver

• Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Crewperson

• Water Safety Personnel

• Patrol Captain

• Duty Officer
