Beyond the Surf Rescue Certificate and Bronze Medallion, there are many further training and education opportunities available at Copacabana SLSC.
Training is available for many areas of SLSC. Some roles require specific training to perform those roles, and other training and education courses are aimed at providing further development opportunities for our volunteers, including the following:
First Aid Officer
Radio Operator
Rescue Water Craft Operator
Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Driver
Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Crewperson
Water Safety Personnel
Patrol Captain
Duty Officer

Education Information Session on 7th Novembet at 7pm at the club.
The combined Bronze Medallion and Surf Rescue Certificate courses will be run on Wednesday evenings at the club commencing at 7pm.
This year there is a new format – theory component October to December and water component January to March.
